Uniforms by Bayou values our customers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the information you give us. We use the information you give us to process your order and make your shopping experience with us as enjoyable as possible.

In order to provide the highest standard of security while shopping online, Uniforms by Bayou is a member of the Verisign TRUSTe Privacy Program. Uniforms by Bayou does not sell, trade or share your personal information with others.

Privacy Policy

Uniforms by Bayou takes your privacy very seriously. Our state-of-the-art site employs the very best security measures available to protect you. We use enterprise class firewall systems, an outside company that monitors our network for intrusion, and incorporate a strong password policy. Our primary means of protection is SSL technology, which encrypts all your personal information, including your credit card data, and prevents it from being intercepted over the Internet. Additionally, access to your account is always protected by a personal password of your choice. Finally, we will never sell your personal information, including your email address, to other companies for any reason, unless required by law.

If for any reason you do not want to provide your credit card information online, you may call our Customer Service Department or your Account Manager to complete your order.

What information do we gather?
We use cookies to track your stay at our store. A cookie is a message given to a Web browser by a Web server. This message is saved and sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies do not gather information from your computer or profile your system. They only store information you provide so that a site can customize its Web pages to fit your needs.

There are two places on our Web site where we collect your personal information for use as a cookie – on the ‘Continue Checkout’ page during the checkout phase of your buying process, and on the ‘My Account Information’ page during My Account registration. Depending on the information needed to complete your request/order/service, you may be required to submit a maximum of your name, company, email address, telephone number, shipping address, and type of payment.

What organization is collecting the information?
Uniforms by Bayou collects and stores information in our secure and confidential database. Our servers are physically secured in a private data center with restricted access. Credit card numbers provided by our customers are stored in encrypted form in our database and are not viewable by any unauthorized personnel. Intermediaries are used only to handle credit card processing and product fulfillment. A third party credit card verification company handles all credit card processing.

How Do We Use Your Information?
We have three main uses for your personal information – tracking your visit at Uniforms by Bayou, processing and shipping your order, and being able to contact you at your request, because of an issue with your order, or for occasional special offers.

We track your visit by name only, not by buying habits. We use this information to stay informed about our customer’s needs and to make sure we are offering the best products and services available.

Credit card information can be stored at your request on our site, but storing is not required to make a purchase. This information is requested on a purchase-by-purchase basis and it is used to only process your order. Your name, address, telephone, email, and shipping address all remain in our secure database.

Email addresses supplied for Uniforms by Bayou's newsletters are used only for the newsletter\’s distribution list. You may visit our subscription center online at any time to change your subscription status.

Uniforms by Bayou will in no way use or store the recipient’s email address supplied for our ‘Tell a Friend’ option for anything other than the intended purpose of emailing the intended page/link to the address provided.

What choices are available to you regarding collection, use, and distribution of the information?
In order to complete any request/order/service, it is necessary for you to enter a minimum amount of information. The required fields of entry are always marked with an red (*) asterisk. All other fields are optional. You always have the option of entering your credit card information on our site or calling one of our Customer Care Representatives to provide it over the phone.

SSL Technology
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is presently the safest way to send credit card information over the Internet. Information is first encrypted on your computer, then decrypted on our side, preventing anyone from accessing any information in between. To ensure your security, we require the use of SSL-capable browsers, such as Netscape (version 3+) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 3+), to check out on our site.

While registering for an My Account at Uniforms by Bayou, you’ll be prompted to provide a personal password of your choice. This password will be used for all future access to your Uniforms by Bayou account. If you cannot remember your password or attempt to log in using an incorrect password, you can elect to have your password emailed to you. Simply click on the ‘Password forgotten?’ button on the log-in page, and we will email you a new, randomly generated password. Use this new password to log in to your account, and where you may choose to change your password to log into your account in the future.

Changing your information
You may correct or change the information you submitted during My Account registration and/or Checkout at any time and as often as necessary. You can access and change it from the ‘Continue Checkout’ page during the checkout phase of the buying process, or once you initially log in to your account. Delete/Deactivate Policy

8. What if our policies change?
Should the need to change any of the above stated policies arise, the new policy will be posted here. Any new policy will be posted a full 30 days before its enactment. During this time, or at any other time, you can alert us of any change in your desire to be contacted by going to my account on the main page and removing the check in the newsletter box to unsubscribe.
